ContributeThank you for supporting the work of the Microsoft Alumni Foundation. One of our core goals is to leverage resources in order to maximize impact. The easier way to have impact is to donate today, but you can also participate in a number of ways, both in-person and virtually, wherever you live in the world. IT CommitteeDo you have development or program management experience in CRM or in creating web portals and applications? Do you have some time to help build the IT infrastructure for the Microsoft Alumni Foundation? The IT committee is tasked with forming an overall technology plan for the foundation. We need a few volunteers to help create the technology plan and guide the implementation using a combination of volunteers and professional consultants. Specifically we need people with knowledge and experience in setting up a customer relations management system, ideally Microsoft Dynamics CRM, and in creating web portals and applications. We will use hosted Microsoft technologies and plan on using our finished systems as examples on how non-profit organizations can use technology to improve their effectiveness. The committee will need to meet regularly to define the initial systems and to get the project moving, after that, we expect a few hours a month commitment will be needed to provide on going guidance and advice.
